The Giant, is a community of over 2800 collectors of Shepard Fairey's work. I started the site when I was a freshman at RISD and the growth has been staggering.
Two major parts of the site are the web forum where people talk, and our wiki where we have documented over 1000 pieces of Shepard's work over his 20 year career.
One friday as I got ready for my internship I had an idea to mix the two, and allow forum users to keep track of their collections in a new setup, and control who had access to that information. Users are able to add pieces to their, owned, selling, or wanted lists. Because my spring semester started that next monday, I had to work fast.
This video details this work over a 3.5 day period, from thought/concept to working interface.
