RISDpedia uses Mediawiki at its core, but boasts a multitude of features that ease the process of contributing.
Using a custom system dubbed easyAdd and easyEdit users of the site can add products/materials articles that would otherwise be to complicated to do. The system also takes over when editing and gives the user a much more visual editing process, and splits up the information to simplify the experience.
