My junior year at RISD I took a class about reducing products footprints. In the class we redesigned products to have a smaller impact on mother earth. In order to prove our concept, we used the IDSA's OKALA system for calculating product life cycles to show before and after numbers.
Unfortunately the way we did this was a little confusing and people messed their calculations.
I designed this web app to prevent errors, and to enable students to quickly calculate changes that came from material/production choices.
